The Miami-based intercity train, which is working on a $4 billion expansion from Orlando International Airport to West Palm Beach, revealed in report on September that it would target reaching an agreement to develop a station in fourth-quarter of this year. Virgin Trains now is evaluating station sites in the area that may serve one or more theme parks in the area.

Kingwood International Resorts has purchased the AAA Four Diamond-rated Reunion Resort and released an ambitious expansion plan for the Disney-area golf destination. Kingwood announced plans to make significant investments in Reunion Resort, including the addition of 1,200 rental accommodations, a new 400-room hotel with convention and meeting facilities to enhance the resort’s condominium and private home rentals.
Chicago-based Levy Restaurants announced it closed Portobello this week and has started work on a multimillion-dollar renovation of the space into a new, Italian restaurant concept.
The new restaurant, for which a name hasn’t yet been revealed, will be run by James Beard Award-winning chef and Top Chef Master Tony Mantuano. The new restaurant’s menu will feature dishes inspired by Mantuano’s “adventures across the many regions of Italy.”
